I am setting up a new plesk webserver and moving some websites from an existing plesk webserver which has been running for about five years with no problems. All was going well until I started hitting strange 502 Gateway errors, Narrowing this down, I found it seems to be connected with whether I am using HTTP GET or POST requests. To demonstrate this problem, I am using this minimalist perl program:

I need to change the password for all email boxes on a specific domain in order to migrate the boxes with imapsync.
I tried the script below but when I run it, it returns the following error: " The specified email address is not valid. Specify a valid one that matches the following pattern: johndoe@example.com. "

Hi everybody!

This weekend the server stoped working, I connected to the KVM and a beautifull 'kernel panic' was wairign for me, luckly after a forces reboot the only problem I found (at first) was one of the disk was taken out the raid, I added it again after checking there was no errors on the disk, and everything look'd ok.

Hello,

I'm facing a very frustrating situation with Plesk file manager. Each time I try to upload a file (that is not that big ~45Mb) the progression bar freezes at 86-87%.
The whole behavior is quite weird as the progression bar starts at 73% then goes slowly until 86-87% and then nothing.
I've tried a couple of times on different domains with different connections and the problem remains the same.

I cannot actually use an FTP software so does anyone have an idea on that?

Articles in the default Sngine blog do not have cover images (Attach file 1)

I want to use the article image as the cover image

or

Mandatory Force users to upload images when posting (because upload does not have a mandatory function) (Attach file 2)

Greetings Guys,

I have just moved from cPanel to Plesk and found that my clients are complaining about connectivity issues using Outlook over IMAP/POP/SMTP (SSL/TLS).

Did ask from VPS provider, they said its a BUG in Plesk .. is this true? If not please share on how to fix this.

Also, my is under managed services with the provider, where I have limited access as reseller.

Hey,

I got an issue...
After the the update script ubuntu20to22 got stuck in the dist-upgrade section SOMEWHERE I've been trying to manually reset the packages back to 20.4 (which is working as far as I can tell though it's a lot of work).

In the process I kind of by accident nuked the Plesk installation (ups) but got it restored with database dumps and logs of what was deleted, the only issue left is it can't find libmaodbc-plesk.so for some reason.

I have a dedicated Plesk server with several domains. In one of them I want to make available a file called, say, "file.db"
If I try to download that file from a web browser, I get a 403 error page saying:

Forbidden
You do not have permission to access this document.
Web Server at @domain_name@

If I rename the file to a more standard extension, like "mp3" (even though it's not really an mp3 file), then I can download the file from the browser.

I installed roundcube+ plugin but plesk doesn't "see" the new files if I install another roundcube plugin everything is ok.

Hello, I regularly get these when logged into the server console:

Port 44745 is unassigned so I can't be sure which service/port is being spoken to.

What are these exactly? It only happens on my Debian 12 machines.

Hello good morning

I have a question that I put aside in the PLESK panel, the PHP configuration means that at most I can upload files of up to 16 MB.

We're experiencing a recurring issue where PHP-FPM is consuming around 25% or more CPU for multiple sites simultaneously. This situation affects approximately four sites at a time, leading to all four CPU cores of our Plesk instance hitting 100% utilization. As a result, all sites become temporarily unavailable.

Hi, I've recently installed some VPS with Plesk on Almalinux 8.9 (now self-upgraded to 8.10).

I've noticed that all system notifications (i.e. watchdog, scheduled tasks..) are sent from a wrong "From" (i.e. watchdog@<somefakenamewithunknownipaddress>.plesk.page instead @Full-server-hostname).

As a result, all system notifications are received as spam.

The full server name is correctly set under Server settings and correctly reported by hostnamectl command.
