Manual installation with "MySQL" --> "MariaDB" installed

Hello !

At the moment I move to a new Plesk installation ( 17.8.x ), after copying
one of my websites, I was surprised about that :

Datenbank-Server

• Server: Localhost via UNIX socket
• Server-Typ: MariaDB
• Server-Version: 10.1.34-MariaDB-0ubuntu0.18.04.1 - Ubuntu 18.04
• Protokoll-Version: 10
• Server-Zeichensatz: UTF-8 Unicode (utf8)

Is MariaDB now instead of MySQL installed ?!
If so, why is only "MySQL" selectable at the manual installation ?...
