Does Plesk recognize new mailserver in IIS app pool ?

Hi

I want to install another Mailserver maybe SmarterMail or Kerio.
I know that SmarterMail will be rcognized by Plesk when it's configured in the IIS application pool.
Does that work also with other Mailservers that use IIS to manage ?

Plesk Onyx 17.0.17 - Windows Server 2012R2 - x64

Would be great if anyone knows.
