Hi,
i have a separate license for Onyx where i have some old sites that requires PHP 5.6.

Now i get the message about "your Plesk server(s) can be selected for an automatic update to Plesk Obsidian".

Can i still run PHP 5.6 if i upgrade?

Other wise i need to keep Onyx.

Please adwise.

How to setup mysql my.cnf to accept both uppercase and lowercase tables.

Environment:
Os: Ubuntu 14.04 TLS
Mysql Server:
App Server: Weblogic Server 12.2.1 (Only uppercase tables are accepted)
Plesk: 12.0.8 (Only lowercase tables are accepted)

I try

lower_case_table_names=2 #(default value '0')

Error message:

database.table doesn't exist

if i use

lower_case_table_names=1
The WLserver work fine but my...

Hey guys, Im pretty new with configurate a server but I have the problem that I don't see the option domain connect although Ive installed the package. I tried everything. Do you know how can I see the option in domains?

This morning I received an email from root on one of my servers, reporting a successful upgrade to version 18.0.23. All appeared well until I examined the detailed contents, much of which appears to me to be in Russian (or uses Cyrillic characters at the very least). The system is set up to use English so this was a bit surprising. A pdf of the email is attached.

Hi,

when I use WordPress Toolkit to install a WordPress instance on a domain no .htaccess file is created in the installation folder httpdocs.

I have to create one manually every time and add the default WordPress stuff and only afterwards am I able to use caching plugins like WP-Rocket for example.

Is there a setting to have an .htaccess file getting created automatically or could it be that something with my setup is wrong. I didn't really change anything that I think is related to this...

Since todays update 17.8.11 Update #43 Plesk's Nginx is compiled with Pagespeed.

I tried the configuration of the days I used ngx_pagespeed with a self compiled version of Nginx, but it doesn't work now.
Settings in nginx.conf
pagespeed on;
pagespeed FileCachePath /var/ngx_pagespeed_cache;
and also pagespeed related settings in Apache & nginx settings of subscription

All of my servers are on the late adopter tier, so they won't be upgraded for 4+ months. I really don't need to see the top notification in Plesk all that time, can you make it dismissible please? A reminder once a month would be fine, but not the whole time!

If there's a better place to post this, please let me know.

We've found a huge problem with this extension: performing a sync (to sync the DNS records between Plesk and DigitalOcean's DNS system) doesn't actually sync any changes!

Example to reproduce:

1. Create a subscription in Plesk.
2. Manually initiate a sync to add the domain zone to DO (although I really wish this step was automatic).
3. Check the domain in DO. At this point everything matches.
4. Make any changes or additons in the DNS zone in Plesk.
5. Click "Sync all zones" to...

hi everyone

when i select to php version FPM Application server by nginx .
so then should normally .htaccess not working because of apache is not used .
but i see still .htaccess is working! whyis that ?

is this correct when i choose for nginx site will load 10x times more clients ?

is this a good idea to select nginx for a laravel project ?

Hi,

I'm experience issues with a specific website that sometimes returns time out / upstream errors. This issue pops up every few days resulting in my entire website not loading and, after a while, returning a HTTP 504 timeout message. This stays until I restart the PHP engine (I usually change the PHP version).

I've been experiencing this issue for a while and tried many fixes but since the error only happens occassionaly it's hard to debug.

The error message from my proxy_error_log file...

Hi all, i have a very common problem i cannot seem to resolve.
My website returns a 503 error.

I have a wordpress 5.3 (latest version) on my webhost running:
OS‪CentOS 6.10 (Final)‬ProductPlesk Obsidian
Version 18.0.23, last updated on Jan 22, 2020 02:33 PM

Things i have tried to resolve the issue:

Wordpress (no results)

I have a problem with Horde webmail. I receive an error: "Error connecting to server".

I have checked the log and this shows a credentials error:

Created dns on aws
Setup A Record and change name server on domain panel but domain is not opening.

I keep getting the following error on Imunify QuickPatch

"Unable to update EXT.05536274.0017: An error occurred while processing your key."

Every time I try to upgrade the key manually, the last key number is increased by one (so .0016 becomes .0017 and so on.) but the problem remains.

Even trying to get a new license is not working. On the Plesk website I get an error that my PLESK license is not valid...

My system log always lists the above errors.

Hi All,

I updated my server to Obsidian Version 18.0.21 yesterday. Everything went well and I did some testing and it all seemed to be fine... until today when I received a couple of calls from customers who use webmail (roundcube) to access their email. I did not test this yesterday so assume it has been broken since the update.

I only had roundcube enabled so enabled hord as well via the plesk installer and changed a couple of domains over to see if that worked. It didn't. I have also...

Hi

Im in the process of moving our websites to a new server space, both are running PLESK Obsidian, linux CentOS7

The only issue i'm having is that when i ping the domains that have so far been moved over i get complete packet loss but the domains resolve correctly and and DNS checkers are all showing correct IP's.

New server security and firewall are identical to the old server. What could be causing the packet loss?
