Can't login to Plesk ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

Hi,

our plesk instance is on a subdomain similar to this: plesk.example.com. A domain example.com was also set up.

In the hope of changing the default site that is generated by plesk I edited the index.html of that domain and changed the default site in Tools & Settings > IP Addresses to that domain.

When I try to log in I'm redirected from plesk.example.com:8443 to www.example.com:8443 and get an error.

How can I change the default...

Update to 18.0.28 failed

I received the message from 3 centos 6 servers tonight that the upgrade to 18.0.27 failed.

with other centos6 servers the update went through without problems

error was:
Error: Cannot open file /var/cache/yum/x86_64/6/base/packages/perl-Error-0.17015-4.el6.noarch.rpm: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/ var / cache / yum / x86_64 / 6 / base / packages / perl-Error-0.17015-4.el6.noarch.rpm '
TypeError: an integer is required
error: python callback <bound method RPMTransaction.callback...

Update to 18.0.28 failed

Activation issue, no properly formed ip address

Hello,

I recently installed a plesk obsidian trial key for web host edition on my VMware workstation and activated just fine.

After a while, I decided to install it on my physical hardware. And when I tried to use the other trial key, it failed with "No Properly Formed IP Addresses (Error code 2)" error. I have disabled the firewall, tried to activate from command line and all with no luck. I can properly telnet and nslookup ka.plesk.com with no problem, so I don't know whats happening...

hi,
i'm in IONOS, i have a cloud web server with PLESK OBSIDIAN.

i asked to ionos to open port 25 for outgoing, it's done.

i created a domain, the website is a wordpress with contactform7. Note that the website (and the form) works fine on another web server, i moved it to the cloud webserver in ionos.

when i submit the form, i don't receive the message. nothing in the queue. the mail service is active on the domain, but no email address is created because mails are on another server.

Plesk not detecting network interface

Hello again,

I have successfully installed Plesk on my physical machine, and can access the panel. I realized it did not automatically add an IP, so I did. However,
when I try to add one, the drop down menu is empty for the network interfaces.

I have tried clicking "Reread IP" with no luck.

Some info that might help:

Network type: WI-FI
Plesk version: Plesk Obsidian 18.0.27
OS: Windows Server 2019 Datacenter

I have attached the image of the drop down being open.

Please do add this feature for free instead of subscription based. At least let us backup specific database.. It is highly recommended.

Sub domain setup

Hey guys,
I need a hand. I want to set it up so that when some goes to xyz.example.com it will direct it to plesk and leave the normal example.com as is.

I just need the subdomain to go to plesk.

I have tried setting up an A name with my current DNS host and pointed it to my plesk ip.
Then i go into plesk and change the dns setting to be slave. But it doesnt seem to be working

Sorry if this is a silly question I am pretty new i dont know how to do it.

Cannot Access Mail Queue

while viewing my mail queue ( about 30 K emails ) , I tried sorting them by date then the page kept reloading forever .. now I think it is not necessary to sort the mail queue but I'm unable to access it , seems plesk saved the sort option somewhere and trying to sort every time I access the page .. I tried clearing cookies , temporary internet files and tried another browser with no luck , where can I find an option to cancel this sorting process ?

Hello,

I have install wordpress for a client with the default plesk installation tools, installation was fine but when i'm browsing the site i'm building sometimes i randomly get "page not found" OR the default plesk web server page, i refresh the page and the website comes back to life.

I have 60 others wordpress sites working fine on this server.

I have few deleted files in the web server configuration troubleshooter, i have try this...

geoip was installed and working fine in version 7.2.30 php, when updating to version 7.3.17, plesk did not install geoip.

How can I keep geoip working in php 7.3?

Plesk Migration Error (Failed to transfer additional Apache/nginx directives)

In the new version from today (2.19.3-918) for all domains with changed nginx directives i get the following error:

Failed to transfer additional Apache/nginx directives
Migration tools tried to perform operation in 3 attempts: Command LANG=en_US.UTF-8 ALLOW_WEAK_PASSWORDS=1 PLESK_RESTORE_MODE=1 backup_restore_helper --restore-subscription xxxxx.net -ignore-nonexistent-options failed with exit code 1:

Any ideas?

Lets Encrypt Wildcard Certificate used by Webmail is unset after renew

I use a Lets Encrypt Wildcard Certificate for my domains webmail.

It works fine.

But when the certificate is renewed, the setting for the webmail was lost.

It remains setted for the e-mail, but not for the webmail.

It happens with all the domains, every renew.

The Lets Encrypt certificates hasn't renewed automatically.

When trying to renew manually, I got the following error:
