Temporary domains

Hi,
I'm developing a number of websites for people, who already have a live site pointing to their current websites.

When I create a temporary web address in Plesk it works OK. But when I setup Divi, Yoast and Google plugins the registration fails as it's not the proper domain name.

Can I register a brand new domain, just for testing new websites? Something like ClientArea.uk, and have temp domains off that for each customer so I can develop my websites and update the plugins with no...

Files getting corrupted after FTP transfer

Hello,

When I upload a PHP file to my server via FTP all is fine and the website is working. But when I download it again the file is corrupted and there are characters like "styÐ% Ð% à¥" °£" 8% ð% @ ð% "

This only happens when I download the file with FTP and not with the file manager. If I upload the PHP file again the website won't work anymore because the server also can't interpreted the characters.

Hello! First of all, thank you so much for spending a little bit of your time opening this thread!

I'm having one simple problem that i can't fix...
The Auto-Reply from Plesk is not working.

My Plesk version is 12.0.18

Description of the problem: On the Main Panel, on the mail settings when i activate the mail-reply... It just doesn't work. (Domains - Mail - AutoReply - SWITCH ON AUTOREPLY)

I've already read alot of articles and solutions but none managed to fix it...

Confusing problem with website and ip addresses

Hello,

i have a confusing problem...
my website and the plesk admin panel wasn't reachable from outside.
Now after a few tests, i found out, that if i delete one specific ip address, the website and admin panel are reachable again - but only for about 30 seconds - then i get an error: "ERR_ADDRESS_UNREACHABLE" if i reload the page.

After a few seconds/minutes, the removed ip address is added again.
Then, if i remove the ip address again, the website is reachable again and so on...

Usualy I have a scheduled weekly Backup only within the Configuration and the other 2 settings for mail and userdata disabled. However It seems this got broken and I cant disable this both anymore. As soon as i disable both and apply settings both checkmarks are enabled again. I am able just to disable one of this, doesnt matter if it is mail or user and then I can apply it, but not both. Thats wired becaus this was working a long time and from one day to the other it got broken and I had...

Error in generated DMARC-xml´s

Hi everyone !

I have some probs using the DAMRC/DKIM/SPF-system.
When generating the reports via plesk (/usr/lib64/plesk-9.0/dmarc_aggregate_report) the
xml-file are missing a ">" at the end.

When using the Site Import Extension when having the Web Application Firewall (WAF/ModSecurity) activated with the Advanced ModSecurity Rules by Atomicorp, one will encounter some problems.

In essence, the following issues are present:

ROOT CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM: ModSecurity disallowing access

SYMPTOMS:

I use the build in plesk backup schedule and when some user add pictures on a web site into the images folder with a site tool, the next backup as an error like that :

"Warning: domain "domain.com"

Hello forum,
I'm taking care of Plesk 12.5 Server for one of my customer.
I'm buying license for that server from Plesk Partner I have contract with, but
he asking for price raise which is double of the price at plesk.com.

So I'm thinking purchase license directly from plesk.com, but problem is that I'm not sure
if Plesk 12.5 accept onxy license, and my client is not about upgrading his server environment
from 12.5 to onyx.

I'd like to hear if someone have used/applied a license to...

Hey!
I try to make the upgrade from Ubuntu 16 to 18 but it wont work :(

I read in a view posts on some websites, that its possible to upgrade to 18 if i use Plesk Onxy 17.8.
I have Onxy 17.8.11 installed.

If i run "do-release-upgrade", it cancel the upgrade.

When a new account is cerated, can we choose to use the username for the database name?

When I create a new account or install Wordpress, it creates database names like wp_is83hd or something. As I manage a lot of websites and often go in using a SQL manager to do things on the database, its very annoying to not know what database is for what site.

So can we configure plesk to create databases named after the account username?
