Aliases with of different domains

Hi,

my new webhosting provider uses the plesk web host edition.
Right now i didn't find a way to use email account with aliases of different domains.
e.G. I have the domain domain1.com and domain2.com

If I add an email account admin@domain1.com, I can add different aliases with the same domain e.g. admin2@domain1.com, but I didn't find an option to add admin@domain2.com. The domain of the email accounts is fixed and cannot be edited.

Onyx - chroot Jail CLI --> Java executeable?

Hey there,

I would need access to multiple Java Version executeables within chroot Jail CLI on Plesk Onyx Server. (right now 1.6.0_41 is installed - need 1.8, CentOS release 6.9 (Final))
Already searched/googled a bit - but didn't find any useful information.
Could someone please point me in the right direction?

A few weeks ago I changed my dedicated server to a new hardware. Plesk 11 on the old, Plesk Onyx on the new one. The migration of the customers hosting is almost done.

Since a few days, the directory listings are coming extremely slow when you work with FTP. Directories with about 10 thousand images need more than 10 seconds to be shown. A directory with 14 thousand files needs more than 25 seconds.
On the old server, the listings come under 1 second. So what could be wrong. My customer...

I use the build in plesk backup schedule and when some user add pictures on a web site into the images folder with a site tool, the next backup as an error like that :

"Warning: domain "domain.com"

Emails sent locally even though MX is offsite and mail disabled, but no errors, where is the email?

I have a new Plesk server, added a website, all OK.

I disabled the mail service for the domain because the mail is offsite, we dont use email.

Customer reports they are not getting any email.

The logs show this:

Plesk 17.8 Firewall and default input chain rules

Hey there,

With Plesk 17.5 and earlier our defaults always seemed to be to have the system policy for the INPUT chain to deny all, then rely upon the exceptions Plesk sets up for us to allow traffic. This has always worked great.

But with 17.8 the default appears to have the system policy set to allow all on the input chain. This seems like a bad idea to me -- anything I'm missing about this?

PLESK 17.5 Overuse limit options

I have started to read through the documentation for PLESK recently and based on that I got the impression that when I set, for example a disk space overuse limit in a service plan, I don't get many options regarding an automated response to that.

So when a subscriber reaches a limit he gets suspended without a warning. I can set another limit which will inform him when he gets close to his hard limit, but that's it.

So my understanding is that that is my only option of dealing with this...

Second question. In features coming in next Plesk Onyx 17.8 Wordpress Toolkit, I see this:

"Smart updates (check if update fails before updating the production instance) – Pro feature."

What does "Pro feature" mean?

Hello! First of all, thank you so much for spending a little bit of your time opening this thread!

I'm having one simple problem that i can't fix...
The Auto-Reply from Plesk is not working.

My Plesk version is 12.0.18

Description of the problem: On the Main Panel, on the mail settings when i activate the mail-reply... It just doesn't work. (Domains - Mail - AutoReply - SWITCH ON AUTOREPLY)

I've already read alot of articles and solutions but none managed to fix it...

17.5.3 Poodle

Hi,

I am running 17.5.3 and I have run the sslv3 disable script on my instance.

Running the poodle.sh script on my box. It is reporting all ports as being not vulnerable. Failed to establish SSLv3 connection.

From the outside I am seeing that I am having issues with POODLE on port 8443.

Can anyone help me out?
