Hey everyone.
Just wanted to share some recent and interesting findings. I'm using the Backup to Cloud Pro extension and saving a full server backup to OneDrive. As I was running low on free space, backups didn't run on one of my servers. "Low space" relatively speaking of course, because the server has ~26GB of free space.

So I gave this some thought as I didn't wanted to leave a lot of disk space wasted just to be able to run backups. Damnit, with 20 gigs I can host some more 40...

WordPress... Speed Kit vs. WP Rocket... which is the better?

I'd like to know if someone has experience about "Speed Kit" applied on WordPress installations in comparison with WP Rocket.
We get the best performance with Speed Kit installed as "Plesk extension" or with WP Rocket as WordPress plugin?

Incremental backup not working

Hello,

I have a scheduled backup operation for all the server. It should make incremental backups every day and a full backup once a week, but, instead, it makes a full backup every day. The incremental backup option is checked. The backup is scheduled to start at midnight every day. The backup is saved locally. I haven't yet configured a remote location.

My server :

Hi Guys,
i have my first big problem, cant find the correct anwser.
So I hope you have the time to help me.

After a while some services shutdown because of "Cannot allocate memory ".

i need to run the following cron

it shouts out an error. i tried to add complete path to wget by adding /usr/bin/wget
but no improvement.

Sorry for my bad english. i'am french.

I have a problem with the Plesk... I use the active sync for connect email adresse on outlook (I have Plesk Prenium Email) and for no reason, only for one domaine sync of email is stuck always to the same email. I try to delete this email and the sync doesn't restart.. I always try to reconnect email, i try on another Outlook on another computer with another internet connection. Someone have any idea ? I already full update Plesk & Plugins.. Ps...

Horde creates text attachments for plain text messages

When people send plain text email messages to a Horde recipient it shows up in the Horde inbox as an attached text file. No text appears in the body of the email. The user then has to click to download the text file. This does not happen with HTML emails. Any idea what might be happening here?

Hello,

This is my first time around trying to install Plesk. I have resolved a few errors that have occured thus far but I cannot find much of an explaination online for how to fix this one. When I run the install command from my terminal as Root I get this error:

I am so happy about Plesk and I didn't expect it.

After installing Plesk, I discovered the backup was already up and running. On the other hand, on Cpanel/whm, I had to configure it several times, and it was deactivated several times.

It is also so great that Plesk does not try to change the Linux modules. For example, it does not add useless directives in htaccess automatically. It does not add additional files to the wordpress installation. Plesk respects the integrity of the linux...

I am so happy that I moved from Cpanel/whm to plesk

I got an email from my server to say:

run-parts: /etc/cron.daily/60sa-update exited with return code 2

I quick Google reveals:

sa-update - automate SpamAssassin rule updates

specifically:

An exit code of 2 means that at least one update is available but that a lint check of the site pre files failed. The site pre files must pass a lint check before any updates are attempted.

FCGI handler always faster than FPM?!?

Dear Pleskians,

I've been puzzled by this phenomenon for quite some time and I just can't find a solution to it.

I'm running a dedicated managed Plesk server with ample resources and when the FCGI handler is selected all the websites using that handler run considerably faster than under FPM handler.

Notabily the TTFB in the front-end and the wordpress backend is twice as fast using the FCGI handler as opposed to FPM. I've tried many different nginx and php...

Hi, we have a Problem with FPM / Apache and TTFB!

Hello,

we have a problem when you join our website we have a TTFB from 2.2 sec+ and the website is then loaded in 20ms! If we change to FASTCGI the TTFB is 400ms and the website load 2,2 sec.

But for our Database is FPM better to work and we don't get eroors in logs.

How can we fasten up the TTFB with Apache and FPM ? It looks like the whole site got prerendered and than it puts out! Is there any solution or do you know the problem?
