High CPU After upgrading to plesk 18

After upgrading to plesk 18 I noticed watchdog is reporting high cpu usage every day (i.e 1.3182% for a single cpu vps).
Since then I have also completed a fresh install (ubuntu 18, plesk 18) and it's like this for a fresh install with no websites or data.

Is there an issue with this new version of plesk?

Hey guys,

I want to create a script that will SSH into a particular Plesk account and then use WP CLI to export the WordPress database for the particular account, and then download the SQL file to my localhost, etc...

Now the issue is that I can't figure out how to establish an SSH connection for a particular plesk account. I went ahead and installed SSH Keys Manager module on Plesk, then I added my SSH key, but when i try to establish a connection with a certain plesk account...

We've got a server with a Reseller Service Plan configured. Under the Resources tab is the section "Define the resources provided with the plan." which is very similar (the same?) as it is for regular (non-reseller Service Plans) and within that section is the option "Mailbox size" which is set to 5GB.

Additionally, in the section above, the option "Overuse of disk space and traffic is allowed" is enabled (though we've always assumed this meant for any resellers associated with this plan as...

Hi all,
I use 18.0.24 and I activated in the general settings to prefer www.domain.tld.
For subdomains is this not working. If I use xxx.domain.tld its not switching to www.xxx.domain.tld.

I need all subdomains with the www. in front. Is there a way or must make this in some own .htaccess?

Scheduled Tasks / crontab with @reboot

I have in crontab for the root user a command that has to run on startup (@reboot).

However, it appears that the Scheduled Tasks manager cant really cope with it.
(whenever i add a task, it gets removed, and i have to use the commandline to add it again.)

is there a way to use @ reboot in root crontab and not make it break by plesk?

Hello,

I do not have much experience with Linux / Ubuntu.

I have recently got a ECS on Alibaba Cloud. I have opted for Ubuntu + Plesk Onyx - which was updated to Obsidian earlier today.

Port 25 is blocked and I have been unsuccessfully trying to use port 465 for emails. I am able to receive emails normally, however, all the outgoing emails are shown as queued and are not sent out. I can see them in the Plesk interface.

I read a tutorial and opened the ports also, yet the emails are still...

- Give the possibility to Admin to limit FTP bandwidth speed use
- Give the possibility to user to Deny completely FTP access/Limit it to one or more ip (Util when it's an user with exclusive ISP IP for example)/Don't put any limit (as normal plesk works)

sulla nostra distribuzione Centos 6 abbiamo erroneamente cliccato sul bottone di installazione del servizio HTTP/2 ed ha mandato il crash tutto il server, bloccando di fatto tutti i domini.
Attraverso le pagine di how-to di Plesk, siamo riusciti a bloccare il servizio e a sistemare le cose.
Purtroppo, però, in Advisor > Performance alla voce Abilita HTTP/2, dopo settimane abbiamo ancora il bottone con la rotellina che gira e la voce Abilitazione (come da allegato).
Non sappiamo...

Hi,

Where can I find daily DB dumps if the incremental backups are stored in a remote FTP server ?

I can find it under /var/lib/psa/dumps/domains/website.com/databases/ when the incremental backups are stored locally. Once we switch to incremental + remote, I can no longer locate the DB backup.

Any help guys ?

Has anyone had any success getting a DotNetCore 3.1 site to work with Plesk Obsidian, like through out-of-process hosting?

If so, may I know what are the things I need to do to make this work?

I tried to set web.config to OutOfProcess:

I vas a cPanel user for many years and in cPanel ther is a Reseller Center that I could create and assign reseller name servers.

How can I do this in Plesk.

Hi, I recently upgraded from Onyx to Obsidian. This resulted in a internal server error story which I assume had to do with IIS and which I did not manage to fix (due to limited knowledge about servers and code).

So I uninstalled as described using Windows regular procedure, what I did not notice then was that it had some errors. I then reinstalled Obsidian and again returned with a lot of internal server errors, I don't think I even got to the control panel this time.

First of all: Congratulations on the release of this extension! We have really been waiting for a suitable multi-server solution, so I am looking forward to testing this. However, as of right now, the extension seems to be lacking a few features which are important to us, namely:
