Good day all. I have a customer who is running an ancient osCommerce site that required PHP 5.1.6. (Yes, I know.) To do the migration to PHP 5.3 and beyond, I created a subdomain (called neo.xxxsitexxx.com) and made copies of all the files so I could apply patches and updates. Having completed those updates, I changed the PHP version to 5.3 for the subdomain and it appears to be working! (Yay for me.)

However, when I change the PHP version to 5.6 or 7.2 (using FastCGI), all the PHP pages...

Is it possible at all to create some sort of PHP Script for people so they can create Email Accounts on my Plesk?

Or the only way is to add manually being plesk admin.

Problem with migration from cPanel to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.26

I have the latest cPanel and I installed on new server the latest Plesk Obsidian (18.0.27). When I wanted to migrate accounts, there was an issue when migration started, and I found out that there is a bug in 18.0.27. However, I have another Plesk server where I have 18.0.26. But I couldn't even connect to cPanel. I'm receiving a message:

Failed to perform action: Fetch shallow data from source cPanel
Cause: Failed to connect to the the source server 'cpanel' (79.124.76.179) at...

Seems i don't have Swap

i'm struggling these days on low memory and server problems and just for a case i've seen in the server statistics that the swap is 0.
So i checked with top and htop and yes i have no swap!
How could be this is even possible?
And what i can do to create it back?

Since Update .27 newly created subdomains don't work

Since todays update a newly created subdomain redirects to the main domain.
Example:
testsubdomain.mydomain.tld redirects to mydomain.tld

Tested on multiple domains.
Existing subdomains are working.

unusual vhost directories

Hi! I have two domains that were added in the last couple months - and both have unusual vhost directories. In addition to the standard directories (ie httpdocs, logs) - they have server level directories (dev, etc, var, usr, tmp) and symlinks to bin, lib, lib64, sbin). Is this something new...or has my server been compromised?

Before i decide to buy extension I have some doubt about the limit of keywords which can be tracked. Seems like on Agency plan there is limit of 2000 keywords per server. This limit for me is really low, especialy if you divide that on 40 websites that is 50 keywords per site. We can say that tracking 50 keywords per site is ok but then we have a second problem and that is our server is than limited on 40 sites only! Third problem which i can notice or maybe i am wrong is that our hosting...

I m runing Plesk on Debian 9 and Cgroups Manager seems to run to. How can i check if its realy working properly?

DKIM issue - Route email from Exchange via Plesk VPS

Hi, I have a Linux VPS which serves 20 some domains and Plesk Onyx to manage it. I have set up DKIM on my VPS which works ok for all but one, which uses an SBS2011 server with Exchange 2010.

They have a problem because Exchange sends emails directly via a smarthost and the IPs of the receiving mail server (on the VPS) and that of the sending mail server (SBS2011) are different. Therefore DKIM fails.

I need to route their emails via my VPS so that they appear as being sent from the DKIM...

I am using Windows 2012 R2 Edition with Plesk Obsidian. Hosted 100+ Websites with mssql 2008, 2012 and 2014. Now i cant create MSSQL2008 Databases on this server. When i am trying to creating a new mssql2008 databases, it will show a popup error.

Docker unable to install via update tool

I have tried to install the Docker ext via Plesk update tool but it seem the Docker cant to install with error. I haven't idea how to resolve the problem. Thank you.

Hello,

Impossible to update from 18.0.26 to 18.0.27 :

- First i can see : 2020-05-13_16h58_29.jpg
And finally : see the attached log...

- When I try to "Update Components" (PHP interpreter versions...), i get the error : "The Yum utility failed to install the required packages"

Activation issue, no properly formed ip address

Hello,

I recently installed a plesk obsidian trial key for web host edition on my VMware workstation and activated just fine.

After a while, I decided to install it on my physical hardware. And when I tried to use the other trial key, it failed with "No Properly Formed IP Addresses (Error code 2)" error. I have disabled the firewall, tried to activate from command line and all with no luck. I can properly telnet and nslookup ka.plesk.com with no problem, so I don't know whats happening...

Hello everybody

since the last update to version 18.0.27 the protocol of sw-cp-ser is running full:

cannot bind adress already in use. See attachment.

Repair kit does not result in errors!
