Error migrating from Onyx 17.8.11 to Obsidian 18.0.40

Hi,

I try to migrate my old Plesk Onyx Version 17.8.11 running on Ubuntu 14.04 to a new Server with Plesk Obsidian 18.0.40 running on a Ubuntu 20.04. .
The initial connection works well, but if I start a migration for a subscription it throws me the following error:

Failed to fetch configuration data from Plesk servers
Cause: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: u'/usr/local/psa/var/modules/panel-migrator/sessions/20211204131550/plesk.backup.source.downloaded.exported.tar'

Backup problem after upgrade to Obsidian 18.0.40

Since the upgrade to Obsidian 18.0.40 my daily backups do not work without error messages. Does anyone know what these messages mean and how to solve the problem?

The errors are:

Since upgrading to Plesk 18.0.40 (Ubuntu 20.04), i always get an error when doing an AutoBackup.

Apparently the GZIP function has been changed. Since then I always get the following error:

Unable to back up files from /var/www/vhosts/xxx.eu owned by system user. Error: Failed to create archive: backup_user-data_2111300320_2112030320.tzst 0 Error: boost::filesystem::copy_file: Function not implemented: "/tmp/pmm-repo-pi-files-GWL6UP", "/tmp/pmm-ru-ca-includes-FMnsHN"

Fehler bei Anwendungen installieren.

Hallo,
ich habe von meinem Serveranbieter das Plesk Image geladen. Ubuntu mit der neuesten Pleskversion.

Leider kann ich keine Anwendungen installieren.

Fehler:

Beim Herunterladen der Anwendung ist folgende Fehler aufgetreten: boost::filesystem::copy_file: Funktion nicht implementiert: "/opt/psa/tmp/adi0mSEXn.zip", "/opt/psa/var/apspackages/29d0dcba-5710-4e31 bc9c -99a1c54ad30b.zip"

Kann mir jemand sagen wie das beheben kann?

Customized firewall rules and fail2ban jail

I find the firewall rules names quite confusing. For example, the name of SMPT: SMTP (mail sending) server. Does this mean the smtp ports 25 and 465? I want to create my own custom rules and have some screenshots with settings below. Are these the correct settings?

Plesk Obsidian migration from Centos 7 to Debian 10

Hi!

My company have two Plesk server. Both running on centos 7 and updated to the latest Obsidian release.
I have many issue with centos 7 recently. Mostly obsolated packages, outdated services, etc. I know the maintenance is still active but honestly barely got any update and even openssh, rsync is obsolated, so any remote backup stopped working recently. Im not like the way how centos is changed (all those stream versions) so upgrading to centos 8 not an option. Also there are no in-place...

Import mailbox from Office 365

Hi,

I need to import a few mailboxes now hosted on Office 365 to Plesk.
The import fails with the message "Could not log in to the source mailbox via IMAP. Make sure that the username and password for the source mailbox are correct.".

I am sure about user, password, and IMAP server (outlook.office365.com 993).

Is Mail Import compatible with O365 authentication?

scheduled task not working in an account. its throwing that ioncube is missing. Actually its enabled on php.

How to enable it on domain or subscription wise.?

Cronjob to import addresses to mailing list

Hello,
I am looking for a way to import a list of eMail addresses into the mailinglist by job.

The mail addresses are in a SQL database. But I have understood so far that there is no direct way to do this.
But I could of course write this list via PHP into a .txt or similar.

Can I import this list automatically by task, e.g. every hour?

I know the solution is somewhere here:

plesk-sendmail: Unable to prepare arguments for mail handlers.

Hi Guys, on my Plesk Obsidian (18.0.40) instance on Debian 9 I am unable to send mail through a web-application.

The log reports this for every outgoing mail:

plesk-sendmail[57114]: S57114: Unable to prepare arguments for mail handlers.
plesk-sendmail[57115]: S57115: get_message_headers: Can't parse the header line 'This is a multi-part message in MIME format.#012' (name of the header can't be extracted from the line)

Any advise about what can be done would be absolutely helpful!

No automatic renewal of wildcard certificates when dns is set as secondary in plesk

On daily basis I’m getting errors by mail for renewing the lets encrypt wildcard certificates.

Skip wildcard certificate renewal for the domain 'XXX'. TXT record could not be created automatically. Try to renew domain certificate manually.

This seems to be related to the fact that I’m using a external dns server and the plesk dns is acting as a secondary name server. When I enable dns as master the error is not reported anymore but then I have a conflict on the machine itself.

Webmail don't work

Hi I recently purchased a cloud server 1and1 and reflected a problem webmail does not open. With a .it domain I moved the dns and everything is ok. With a .com purchased from 1and1 I moved the dns domain works well but the webmail does not open. The service is active mailbox is created and active.

All scheduled tasks visible in all accounts

Hi,

When I'm logged in as admin and entering a domain or subscription, after I click on "Schedulded Tasks" it goes to /smb/scheduler/tasks-list and show ALL crontabs of the server, not only those of the current subscription/domain as it was before.

SIde effect : can't add a cron for a user anymore using admin account.
