Hello!

I use Plesk to configure a server. Sometimes (I think)tomcat produce a lot of CPU usage.

Did I need Tomcat7 on my server ?
If not, how can I remove it?

I tried to uninstall it from the components. But I think it is still there. For example I find it afer some updates as a running process. Before I try to stop it with the command: /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/tomcatmng --stop

Hi all

In December I upgraded from 12.5 to Onyx without any problems.
With 1 exception: since upgrade I do not have access anymore to the webstats.
Tried both, admin and customer account, without success

My site is on SSL, nevertheless I tried both, domain.com/plesk-stat/webstat-ssl/ and domain.com/plesk-stat/webstat/. Both with same result as described above.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

I'am facing an issue with Webmails that they're displaying "Apache HTTP Server Test Page powered by CentOS" for all my webmail.domain.tld

Configuration: Onyx 17.0.17, up to date on CentOS Linux 7.3.1611
Horde and Roundcube are installed and were running like a charm before.
Webmail option is activated for all domains, with SSL Let's encrypt certificates.

I've tried to do actions below without success :

Activate/desactivate : webmail, SSL certificate,...​

Hello,

I'm looking to upgrade from Plesk 12.5 to Onyx, however we have some custom scripts which take our daily Plesk backups and send them to another server.

Has the backup process or directories changed at all in Onyx? I just want to make sure before I upgrade and find our backup scripts no longer work.

Hi,

i use plesk Onyx Update 16.

I activate the "Send notifications to" with "every time" option under my cronjob. I get but despite an output no mails. I've already tried it with the following tip. Also there I get no email: https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/...-sent-to-email-indicated-in-the-task-settings

With the Option: CRONJOB-TARGET | mail -s 'Mail CHECK' info@mail.com I get a mail.

Is this a bug or a feature?

nginx stops and starts. seeing this error in /var/log/nginx/error.log:

I have one question:

I'm receave the message bellow after plesk 12.5 backup:

Not all the data was backed up into /var/lib/psa/dumps/clients/myclient/domains/mydomain.com.br successfully. /bin/tar: invalid option -- 'q' Try `tar --help' or `tar --usage' for more information.

How i can resolve it?

I'm getting pre-upgrade warning:

WARNING: There are 11 accounts with passwords encrypted using a deprecated algorithm. Please refer to http://kb.plesk.com/en/112391 for the instructions about how to change the password type to plain.
Proceeding with installation or upgrade without resolving the issues that were found can corrupt your data.

Kb link added, is not helping me, so what to do?

Hey,

today I tried to update my Plesk from 12.5.30 to Onyx via installer over the Plesk-interface. Unfortunately the upgrade process failed during the Plesk database scheme upgrade. Any idea how to fix this problem? All plugins are updated.

The full log-file is attached to this post.

The following lines are from the created log-file:

Hi,

I do not know why, but now the plesk is not accepting authentication via google authentication, result: I can not access the control panel because the number that is shown by google authentication is reporting that is not available (I always used).

How can I disable this directly on the server? Via database?

Plesk 12 for windows.

Please, help me.

Hi,

I have enabled Resource Controller and I have set the limits for each service plan.

Now, how do I know this is working properly?

In cloudlinux you cloud see each subscription resource usage, how can I see that in plesk?

The documentation on this module is not very extensive.

We've installed the Health Monitor on Plesk Onyx (Web Admin Edition) and despite the Plesk documentation, it is not available for viewing. Is it accessible on Web Admin editions of Onyx?

Hi,

I ran the auto upgrade from 12.0 to onyx, it seemed to have completed fine, more or less.

The websites are running fine (or even better - faster), ftp's work fine etc., however, I cannot log in to the pesk panel at all.

Has anyone experienced anything like it?

I have a customer that has a .net website and wants to migrate to my hosting server, however asp.net isn't compatible with linux, but I have seen MONO. How easy is this with Plesk and Cloudlinux?

We've been trying to ensure that all of our servers are configured with the "Very Strong" password requirement policy. We most definitely want to ensure a high level of security and we're fine with telling clients "too bad" when their passwords are 6 chars (for example).

However we keep finding scenarios where it's being overly restrictive when the passwords should be considered strong enough. This is creating some friction with our clients because we're trying to tell them that we're...
