Hello, I have fresh Plesk Onyx (Version 17.5.3 Update #4) , I use Plesk migrator to migrate all domains from old server (Plesk 12.5.30 Update #63) to here.

When I tried to add new domain as admin it shows error "Error: Domain Service Web not exists: domain=mydomain.tld, id=26". but the domain has been created and I removed it from Plesk GUI. After that I googling and try to repair the database using "plesk repair db", it found some error
"Inconsistency in the table...

Error: mailmng-outgoing failed: ERROR:eek:utgoing:UNIQUE constraint failed: domains.name

nginx + apache + plesk = wrong REMOTE_HOST value

Hi there,

Im running the latest plesk onyx (web admin) on apache2 + nginx on an Ubuntu 16.04 vps.

My issue is that after enabling HostnameLookups in apache2.conf, the REMOTE_HOST value contains the domain name of the website, not the hostname based on the user's IP.

This value is only wrong when I access the server via nginx (port 80), if I connect directly to apache via port 7080 it's correct.

Is this a plesk issue or apache?

What is the best way to duplicate all the Plesk Configuration

Hi,

What is the best way to duplicate all the Plesk Configuration? From Server A to Server B

I just want to find a easy way to quickly configure new servers.

Would it be possible using Backup? from Server A and Restore it to Server B(where I only have to change the hostname and IPs)

Please assume Server A will be up-to-date Plesk Onxy with No Subcription, Customers, Reseller etc and Server B is newly installed Plesk with same components as Server A

Currently a plesk user 11.0.9 on an old red hat server.
trying to install 12.5 on a new centos 7.3 server.

Per your documentation a 14 free trial license is supposed to be part of the installed software.

When doing the initial login and setup, get to page that requests a license. Why ?
Have gone to your site to request a free trial and used those licenses also and always receive the following message:

license key does not support exporting in previous version

Hi, i have a customer with a statistic of use problem, he have several domains and have 200mb of sql databases and system report 560mb, when i run

Edit: plesk 12.5 on vps centos 6

/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/statistics –calculate-one –domain-name=clientdomain.com

have this several problems:

How do I add a sub domain to my primary domain?

I want to make mail.hitech.us my mail server. Hitech.us is my primary domain. I want to add a certificate to it and check via that domain. I have the ip pointing to the mail.hitech.us on my server and it pings out. I have added mail.hitech.us to my hosts file. When I attempt to add the mail.hitech.us subdomain through my admin account, it cannot find hitech.us for me to add as a subdomain.

When I try to check with mail. I get this message:

Unable to establish secure SSL connection to...

How do I add a sub domain to my primary domain?

Can't run php exec funtion on plesk running FastCGI application served by Apache

Hello, I'm new in Plesk.
I'm dealing with issue about php funtion executive bash script like : shell_exec(), exec(), passthru(),...It always show error :"permission denied" when I config php setting "run php as FastCGI application served by Apache". But after I set php setting to "run php as FPM application served by nginx", php funtion above run perfectly. Anyone know why?

The specified email address is invalid. Please specify a valid address like user@example.com
Plesk antivirus configuration is always "switch off" by default for every mail account. So we have to enable antivirus PER EMAIL ADDRESS, this is not convenient at all. I dont use spamassassin (turn off) so I dont think it will impact my server performance.

How do I 'switch on' antivirus (drweb) for...

Backup recovery takes forever

One of our server's backup recovery tasks has hang up and is still shown under settings -> backup manager (see screenshot).

We can not click the task to abort it. Even restarting the server does not work. It still shows the backup task since April, the 7th.

What do we have to do to kill the recovery task?

Hello,

I have a Problem, I can't connect to the plesk panel. I get this error message in
:/var/log/plesk/sw-cp-server

5973#0: *13 SSL_shutdown() failed (SSL: error:140E0197:SSL routines:SSL_shutdown:shutdown while in init) while SSL handshaking, client: 87.106.181.241, server: 0.0.0.0:8443

But plesk seems running:

netstat -l

tcp 0 0 *:pop3 *:* LISTEN
tcp 0 0 localhost:spamd *:* LISTEN
tcp 0...

Cant connect to Plesk Panel.

Dears,
Kindly note that recently I have upgraded my plesk 12.5 installed on windows server 2012 standard to Plesk 17.0.17.
So, after upgrading i start to get errors during Schedule backup.

Fail2Ban plesk-postfix jail banning Apple Mail users

I have several Mac Mail users who cannot send mail as their IP addresses are being banned by Fail2Ban plesk-postfix jail. I can add them to the Trusted list but they're on dynamic IP's so when their IP does change they can no longer access the their Email or their Website. Is there a fix for this, other than not using Mac Mail ;), my customers are getting quite frustrated by this situation.

Product Plesk Onyx
Version 17.5.3 Update #3, last updated on April 19, 2017 04:29 AM

Problem:
As of today we were prompted by a client that he can no longer select a PHP version on any subscription with the PHP-settings button. The dropdown with installed PHP versions does appear, but the 'run PHP as' dropdown remains empty.

Fail2ban and Firewalld

Hi

On my server I'm running firewalld on centos7 after which I installed plesk

I have now installed Fail2ban and also did the plesk firewall which I found to just be iptables and not firewalld so I uninstalled that

I want to know if the plesk Fail2ban will be aware of firewalld and will be able to ban ip's successfully

I have made all changes in options in plesk I need for Fail2ban

As I'm a bit of novice I don't want to think I'm protected by Fail2ban and when it comes to crunch it...

Encrypt Email passwords even for root

Is it somehow possible to encrypt email passwords, so that even an user with root access cannot access them.
At the moment root-users can see them with

/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mail_auth_view
If it is not possible, can we make it somehow harder to view the passwords?

Our intention is to give our customers a better feeling of security, as some of them still use the same password for different platforms.
