Error: plesk-mail-pc-driver conflicts with sw-msmtp-...

I just upgraded from 12.5 to Onyx and all seemed to go well.

However, when I tried to run "yum update" on my Cloudlinux server I get this error...

Error: plesk-mail-pc-driver conflicts with sw-msmtp-1.6.2-17031414.x86_64

Anyone know a quick way to resolve this?

Trouble updating plesk

Heloo everyone.

I'm getting the following error while updating plesk (version 12.5.30):

http://repos.fusiondirectory.org/rhel6/RPMS/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] PYCURL ERROR 22 - "The requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found"

I found something online that say I have to run:
yum clean all
rpmdb --rebuilddb
yum update

I'm wandering if there is any change "rpmdb --rebuilddb" will mess my server, so I'm being extra cautious and asking you guys.
I'm not sure if that will...

Scheduled task with Ruby / Redmine

HI,

I want to execute one of the following Rake tasks via Scheduler (Cronjob):

  • REAL: "redmine:email:receive_imap RAILS_ENV="production" host........."
  • DEBUG: "-T"
When I run the task in browser via "Run Rake Task" window both tasks work fine.

But when I run them on CLI they fail.

Com
mand:
"rake -f /var/www/vhosts/xxx/httpdocs/Rakefile -T"

Result:
"You have requested:
nokogiri ~> 1.6.8

The bundle currently has nokogiri locked at 1.7.2.

FTP Access on VPS Cloud server 1&1

Hi everybody,

i'm new in Plesk management, and i need your help.

I want to allow FTP access on my server Plesk.

So i create my users in FTP Access on my principal domain, but when i try to login with Filezilla, don't work :

by FTP :
Status: Connecting to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:21...
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Error: Could not connect to server
Status: Waiting to retry...

by SFTP :

Plesk is so slow

Hi guys.

I have switched from Plesk on Windows to Plesk on Linux. It was lightening fast after installation on a VPS with 80GB SSD, E5-2620 CPU and 4GB of ram.

It's set to auto update the panel; so it always updated the minor version changes; nothing new has been installed on CentOS box.

After a couple of weeks; Plesk has gone so slow. Any operation or anywhere clicked on the panel makes me wait a couple of seconds. I have approx 20 web sites hosted but all of them have nearly zero...

NGiNX - browser caching for static resources

Hi,

On Plesk 12.0 I used the following rules under additional nginx directives to enable browser caching for static resources:

location ~* \.(js|css|png|jpg|jpeg|gif|ico|woff|svg)$ {
expires 30d;
add_header Pragma public;
add_header Cache-Control “public”;
try_files $uri @fallback;
}

but since upgrading to Plesk 12.5 it is no longer working. No matter what I've tried so far has worked to get browser caching for static resources working again.

Does anyone have any ideas?

(bug ?) mysql_pconnect() fails if password contains $

Plesk 17.5.3 on Centos.
I just noticed that if my database password contains "$" I get "access denied for user@localhost" error in PHP.
It works to connect just fine from other database tools, but in PHP I get db connection error.
I think also Plesk uses "$" when generating a random password.
You might want to fix that because for us it can be a pain to debug.

can anybody tell me what I have to put into the normal script when I create an user via API to get this option checked: "Use this user's credentials by default for accessing phpMyAdmin "

My users can't login to phpMyAdmin because this option is missing.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
When try to create a certificate of Let's Encrypt show inputbox for email and 2 checkbox (include www and webmail)

- Include a "www" subdomain for the domain and each selected alias
- Secure webmail on this domain

But the webmail checkbox is disabled, because plesk search a link into IIS...​

new directories in /var/www/vhosts

so I was looking in /var/www/vhosts/ today and discovered two new directories. /fs/ and /fs-passwd/
fs-passwd also contains a dav.passwd file containing what look like users and hashes.
What is the purpose of these dir and the passwd file?
sorry if this has already been asked, I did search, but could find nothing relevent and am in search of a fast answer.

When creating a CNAME DNS record pointing to Microsoft Office365 for DKIM, Plesk generates an error indicating the content of the record is invalid. It seems not to like the underscore _ character. I followed the official manual to the letter [1].

Subdomain as separate webspace

Hello,

Previously when I used Plesk 12, I was able to create one webspace for domain (domain.com) and another webspace for subdomain (subdomain.domain.com) and it worked. Later I upgraded to a new server, upgraded to Plesk Onyx 17 and used the Migrator to move all subscriptions. Since then, the webspaces with subdomains stopped working - the addresses are not resolved.

When I try to install onyx see the capture Screenshot, at the moment skip a blank page with no response Screenshot . At 10 seconds I redirected again to the components, but of the current version not of the version of Onyx,

I have activated the errors in plesk, but neither does it give me any error follow the page with ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE and the redirect

Please, I need a solution.

Errormessage from Horde when deleting email-adress

Hallo,

when trying to delete an old, not more used, email-adress within Plesk (Onyx Version 17.0.17 Update #31 on CentOS 6.9) I get this error message:

DB query failed: SQLSTATE[42S02]: Base table or view not found: 1146 Table 'horde.ingo_sharesng' doesn't exist, query was: DELETE FROM `horde`.`ingo_sharesng` WHERE (`share_owner` = '<OLD_EMAIL_ADRESS')

OK, this table doesn't really exists, but we don't use Horde anymore.

Thanks for any hints how to delete old email-adresses.

Random 403 error

Hello,

I face a weird issue since one month with Plesk 12.5.30 on a dedicated Debian Wheezy server.

There are several domains hosted there (Prestashop and Wordpress) but only one face this (a Prestashop) :

Randomly, the response is "403 Forbidden". I inspected the logs and the only relevant thing I found is lots of :

[error] [client xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] Directory index forbidden by Options directive​

The DirectoryIndex was not present in httpd.conf file so I added the rule...

service plan 502 bad gateway

I have been using one subscription for all my domains. Decided to split them into additional subscriptions so I can control the resources. The only problem is when I try to add service plan I get 502 bad gateway error? I suspect the /admin page might not be there because I don't see it in httpdocs folder. Is it possible to recreate this with the plesk repair web command?

Hi over there!

I'm hosting Websites since a few years and started using plesk on a few servers. I'm very happy with it, the documentation is very good.
The thing is, i coulnd't find any tutorials about configuring the customer-interface. I want to show only a few functions like mail- and database-interface to my customers. All the other functions should be disabled. Is it possible to configure the customer-interface?

I have Vps with 32Gb ram and Plesk 17 and Usualy I am using Wordpress for my web sites.
And I need to Upgrade my Wordpress Performance now.
and I am Looking best solution for wordpress Performance and I am looking Guide for plesk

I am Already using Php 5.6.30 + FPM Apllication + Nginx

I want to install Ramdisk And I want to run my wordpres file or database with ramdisk
How is possible? how can I install and configure ramdisk?
Or any other solution?
