no properly formed ip addresses

Hallo,

ich habe mir eine testlizenz bestellt. leider kommt bei mir immer: "no properly formed ip addresses" ich habe einen Dedicated Server Windows. der server läuft auf die statistische ip: 192.168.178.34 und einer ipv6: 2001:4dd0:ff00:954e:25d6:b00b:2188:a4e2

es ist leider nicht möglich eine normal statische ipv4 vom provider zu bekommen.
nun meine frage. wie ist es möglich die lizenz zu aktivieren. ich möchte nach dem test eine richtige lizenz erwerben....

Fail2ban fails, no ip rotate

Hi,
since ... one hour i have always same Ips in that List.
Exaclty 160 IPs (which is quite a lot i think)
and some specific IP from Customers Home Internet just dont want to get activated again.
F2b is set bantime to 10 minutes.
what am i missing?

I have to say, this Server is a little huge... 300 Domains
can i tune up my filters for working for a large Server?

Plesk Onyx, 17.0.17, Debian Jessie, vServer at Hetzner (KVM virtualisation)

On this new server, although FTP works fine, I am seeing quite frequently in /var/log/auth.log:

Nov 21 09:14:04 mail proftpd: pam_systemd(ftpd:session): Failed to connect to system bus: Permission denied
Nov 21 09:52:35 mail proftpd: pam_systemd(ftpd:session): Failed to connect to system bus: No such file or directory

I do not have this sort of error message on older servers runnung Ubuntu 14.04 and...

Box v1.2 installation problem

Hi,
When trying to install Box v1.2 I get response "Error: The following error has occurred during the download of application: XPath "/*/*[7]name" cannot be found".

[ I am new to Plesk ] Does anybody get same error ? Is a module error or a configuration error ?

Hello,

I would like to ask if Plesk 12.5 will get Pagespeed Module as Extension? We have a Managed Server and our Hoster will not install not proofed Modules by Plesk.

PS: Does Plesk Onyx has it?

Plesk went offline after server restart

Hello Plesk Forum,

after changing my php.ini I resetet plesk in my vps control panel. After that nothing worked.

I restarted the server 3 times. didn't work
I tryed restarting plesk

When I ask the server after the status of plesk or sshd. Both are up and running...

Plesk offline
sshd timeout
All websites offline

The Server is online in the intranet I think but not available from outsite. I tryed deactivating fail2ban. But after the command fail2ban says it is unable to contact the...

I have been searching the web for an answer to this question but I couldn't find anything.

I have a CentOs server managed with Plesk 12.5, with a 2nd level domain mysite.com for which I have created a number of subdomains (3rd level) sd1.mysite.com, sd2.mysite.com, etc.
The web server is Apache and also NGix is installed and working.

All the subdomains are reachable from the web : e.g. http://sd1.mysite.com, through port 80.

For one of these subdomains, I need it to be...

How to restore backup from /var/lib/psa/dumps using the command line

Hello,

I recently had to reinstall my server because of a failed update. I know would like to import a backup from Plesk 12.5 into Plesk 17 which is located under the /var/lib/psa/dumps directory. These are the local backups that Plesk did. Is it possible to import them using the gui oder the cli? The Plesk 17 installation is completely new and has only the webspace domain added.

The new Plesk installation has the same backup encryption password as the old one.

Not receiving alert emails from Server Health Monitor

Hi,

I'm trying to test whether email notifications are successfully sent by the Health Monitor. I downloaded custom-health-config.xml which specifies:

"The "notificationEmail" child element defines an alarm notification recipient. If the element is omitted, the alarm notifications are sent to the Panel admin's e-mail address."

As a test, I changed the alert levels on disk usage for the "/" partition to very low values and re-uploaded the file.

Backup idea

Hello!

I have my plesk server configured to do scheduled backups. Every day.
One time, I have a HDD issue with my server and I wasn't able to restore these backups in a new server (as I could see, the restore would be possible if it was the same server). I had to "restore" it manually.
So, I'm looking for a solution to backup my server (remotelly, if possible) and be able to restore it even if the restore is going to be made in a different server. How do you do it?

php as Apache module

I want to migrate some old website from Plesk 11.5. Domain run in PHP as Apache Module (5.3.3) to Onyx.

New server: CentOS7, Plesk 17.0.17 update #7, upgraded from Plesk 12.5

Nginx is not installed.

PHP 5.2 to 7 are installed (5.2.17, 5.3.29, 5.4.16, 5.4.45, 5.5.38, 5.6.28, 7.0.13)

On "old server Plesk 11.5" I tried to switch PHP support from Apache module to FastCGI but that broke the site.

So I really need to use php as Apache module, is it possible in Onyx ?

Onyx upgrade issue health monitor

Dear all

After i upgraded to plesk Onyx i have encounterd a problem with the health monitor.

I get the following Error

Actually i have no idea how and why this error appears maybe i someone knows how to deal with this

SRS not working

Hello,

The SRS is not working al mail that's being forwarded will not be send it wil stay deferred.

The error in the maillog is:

I am having a problem with my Plesk server since for a few weeks it is being attacked using brute force in named. I have noticed that in the file '/var/log/messages' the following line appears thousands of times:

Nov 22 16:43:04 myserver named[571]: client x.x.x.x#49784: query (cache) 'domain.com/A/IN' denied
Nov 22 16:43:04 myserver named[571]: client x.x.x.x#49784: query (cache) 'domain.com/A/IN' denied
...

Most domain.com logged no longer exist in my VPS.

Python installation

Hi

i would like to install python and run .py scripts in httpdocs, also i have read here, that this is possible through plesk onyx.

so what would be the best practice to install python on centos 7 and make it competable with plesk onyx. detailed instruction if possible.
