change hostname

Hello everyone!!!

I have two servers in Hetzner, and both servers have the same hostname in Plesk.

One called CARF is called host.fundacioncarf.org, and the other is called OMNES, but it's also called host.fundacioncarf.org. This is obviously incorrect.

I think it should be called host.omnesmag.com.

My question is, because I have no experience, is this possible. Can I change it directly? Are there any consequences to changing it? Would I have to restart the server? I don't know.

We've turned the option on, but no e-mails were being sent.

We investigated and found this in the logs:

Why have you removed the big PhpMyAdmin icon from the central page?

Since upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.69 (Linux) i am unable to open the Extensions Page.

REG: 3rd party Wildcard SSL Cert

Hi Team,

We are running plesk 18.0.68 . Our question or doubt . Is like for one or Domian we are using a 3rd party Wildcard SSL . Not the plesk default LetsEncrypt . Though all looks good . But We could see this pop up on the Doamin --> SSL Cert page .

How to avoid it or not to pop up's . Kindly advise

Exclude email or domain from fail2ban checking

I have a problem with a client. Every now and then, fail2ban blocks their IP because they have misconfigured email accounts on their network, which triggers the plesk-dovecot rule.

This is fine, but the problem is that the client is unable to find the email program that's causing the problem. I've tried adding their IP to the whitelist, but it keeps changing due to their ISP.

Is there a way to notify fail2ban in the plesk-dovecot rule so it doesn't block connection attempts to specific...

Hey!

I have built a small free tool where you can easily import a combination of Spamhaus-DROP-List and FireHOL Level 1 as a Plesk-Firewall rule (json file).

This should be updated from time to time.

If there is a timeout when applying the rule, I have placed a note at the bottom of the page where and how the time can be extended.

Hi there

my Plesk web server does block the access to my websites when my computer is VPN connected via ch.hideservers.net (any maybe also other VPN servers).

Where can i whitelist this?

Can i whitelist it as a domain? Or do i need to whitelist it as an IP or CIDR?

Hello there,

After a failed automatic update of Plesk, I noticed an error regarding permissions in some of the file packages with the repair tool. I tried to repair it and I got the following message:

Hi All (new here, though been using plesk for last 10 years),

I am experiencing this issue on all 6 of our Plesk servers, that I have never seen before.

ERROR: Plesk\Exception\Database: DB query failed: SQLSTATE[40001]: Serialization failure: 1213 Deadlock found when trying to get lock; try restarting transaction, query was: DELETE FROM `sessions` WHERE (`modified` + `lifetime` < 1745309391) (Mysql.php:79)

I have scoured the forums however have not seen anyone with the same issue...

Issues with Plesk REST API since 18.0.69

Hello,

I'm experiencing issues with the Plesk REST API since updating my server to version 18.0.69. All API calls return the following error:

Additionally, the "Remote API (REST)" section has disappeared from Tools & Settings:

I’m surprised that such a significant change isn’t mentioned in the changelog.

Can anyone help?

URL rewriting not working with nginx

The forum software I use has an addon that rewrites URLs, and will automatically generate the appropriate nginx rules as well as writing a .htaccess file. However, when I paste the rules into the "additional directives for nginx" thing and save it, I still get 404 errors for everything when using nginx alone. I've tried restarting nginx but that doesn't change anything. Right now I'm doing this on a test site to avoid breaking anything important, but I'd like to have this work if possible.
